Here is a picture from 1933.  The Androphy Electric Company truck is in the background.
My mother Pearl Androphy Kramer labelled the picture:
"May Day in 1933 From Left Back:
Brother Howard, Tybe, Charlotte, Nina (Cousins)

Sydney  and ?
There white horn is a large speaker on top of the truck.  My grandfather told me that he was in the portable public address business and that he did sound for "the races" that were probably in Bridgeport.

The Androphy Familys on Spring Street in Derby, Connecticut had a three car garage with a large space above that was used as Derby Civil Defense Headquarters during WWII.
